CATERING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking:
While we strive to accommodate last-minute orders, we recommend confirming large orders at least one week in advance, particularly if rentals or on-site staff are required.
For Orders Under $500:
- Full payment is required to confirm the booking.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
For Orders Over $500:
- A 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
- Menu selections and quantities may be adjusted up to five business days prior to the event.
- Invoices for the remaining balance will be issued the Monday following the event.
- Cancellations made within one week of the event will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
Delivery / Pickup:
Delivery is available for orders exceeding $200. Delivery fees are as follows:
- $25 for deliveries within a 10 km radius
- $50 for deliveries within a 30 km radius
- $100 for deliveries within a 60 km radius
- $200 for deliveries within a 75 km radius
- For deliveries beyond 75 km, please inquire for pricing.
Delivery will occur within a 30-minute window specified in the quote, and is subject to scheduling based on event serving time, logistical considerations, and daily delivery schedules.
If Chef Ric's equipment is included in the order, pickup will be scheduled for the following day. The exact timing may vary based on the driver's availability. Clients may opt to return the equipment to Chef Ric's to waive the pickup fee.
If the driver arrives and no one is present to receive the order, they will wait for 15 minutes before returning to Chef Ric's. For food safety and quality reasons, the driver cannot leave the food unattended.
If the customer requests a second delivery attempt, it will be subject to scheduling availability, and an additional fee may apply.
Allergens:
By accepting the proposed quote, clients acknowledge that Chef Ric's is not an allergen-free facility. All items may be subject to cross-contamination or contain traces of allergens, including but not limited to gluten, eggs, nuts, dairy, and seafood.
